This year, our Farmer John helped us bring to fruition an award-winning Home Team garden – literally! I may be biased towards the spectacular tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, basil, Swiss chard, garlic, broad beans, snap and snow peas, broccoli, cauliflower and corn we grew for the Home Team. However, we thought the fruits of our labour were so glorious that we entered them into the local Saanich Fair, held every Labour Day long weekend. And we won! Read more
