Conference 2012 Awards Gala

Our Awards Gala is something I look forward to every year – and every year it gets more glamorous and more rewarding. This year, our theme was Hollywood glamour: old and new. Our lovely hosts, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers (aka Customer Experience Manager Darren Cullen and CEO Amelia Warren) waltzed on stage to welcome our Consultants.

New Epicure Leaders since April 2012 received a bottle of Epicure wine; new Senior Leaders were awarded with special star anise charm bracelets. I also had the honour to recognize our Directors for their incredible achievements. Our ‘Rookies of the Year’: Lynne Prud’homme for sales, and Amanda O’Brien for sponsoring, each received a copy of Oh the Places You’ll Go by someone I have always admired: the ingenious Dr. Suess.

The Caring & Sharing Award is something very dear to my heart, and this year it was awarded to Executive Director Sylvie Cousineau. Kudos on your amazing success, Sylvie. You deserve it. It’s a pleasure to be in the company of so many courageous women and I’m honoured to celebrate their achievements.

I also received a special surprise: a cupcake for Epicure’s 15th birthday presented by someone who’s been an important part of Epicure since before it was Epicure, our Executive Vice President Marc Trottier.

Here are some photos from this memorable Gala.

This conference was absolutely life changing for me! I can say honestly, that I went there for free product and a break from my day to day life. I can home a new woman, a better mother, a better friend to my husband… and completely motivated to become Leader! I have been calling it my Personal Development 101 weekend… Amelia, you are simply breath-taking! Your wit and humor always kept my on my toes to hear what you had to say next. Sylvie, you are an inspiration and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you believe in! Thank you for my amazing future with our/your wonderful company… Thank you!
(ps: the two of you look like sisters in this picture)
